Established in 2022 as Dhinawan Services and now operating as Dhinawan Group, we are a majority First Nations owned company based in Newcastle, NSW.
Specialising in paint and blast services, as well as inspection and consultation services for the welding and protective coatings industry, we serve clients across NSW and interstate. Our expertise spans diverse sectors including mining, oil and gas, Defence, transport, construction, and manufacturing.
With a collective industry experience of over 40 years, our highly skilled management team holds AMPP (Association for Materials Protection and Performance) coating inspector certificates, IIW (International Institute of Welding), and WTIA (Welding Technology Institute of Australia) certifications. This ensures that every project we undertake meets the highest standards of quality and safety.

Our brand
Inspired by the knowledge of the Kamilaroi people and their celestial navigation, Dhinawan Group takes its name from "Dhinawan," the Kamilaroi word for emu. Like the Emu in the Sky constellation, where the Kamilaroi focus on the dark patches between bright stars to envision the emu, we at Dhinawan Group emphasise the often overlooked yet crucial details to deliver high-quality outcomes.
